Make a worksheet at three levels, with an answer key

Lesson 2 of 55 min read1 task · 3 questions

One topic, three levels, every answer worked out. Then you check each line.

The idea

Every class has students at different levels. One worksheet rarely suits all of them. Ask AI for the same topic at three levels: easy, medium and hard. Strong students get a challenge. Others build confidence first.

Always ask for an answer key with working, not just final answers. The working shows how the AI got each answer. That makes mistakes easy to spot.

AI does make mistakes in maths and in facts. So check every line of the answer key yourself before you print it. Solve each question once on paper. A wrong key confuses students and costs you time later.

Your task

Make an area and perimeter worksheet for Class 6

Change the class and topic to your own. Paste the prompt, then solve each question yourself and compare with the key.

Your slip: copy-paste prompt
Role: You are a Maths teacher for Class 6 in India.
Task: Make a short worksheet on area and perimeter of rectangles and squares.
Format:
- Easy: 2 questions
- Medium: 2 questions
- Hard: 1 word problem
- Use cm, m and rupees. Use simple English and Indian names.
- Then give an answer key with one line of working for each answer.
Keep it under 170 words.

What you should get

A real example of a good result. Your wording will differ a little. The shape and the facts should match.

Printed resultExample

Easy
1. A rectangle is 8 cm long and 5 cm wide. Find its perimeter.
2. Find the area of a square with side 7 cm.

Medium
3. A square has a perimeter of 36 cm. Find its side and its area.
4. A rectangle has an area of 72 sq cm and a length of 12 cm. Find its width and its perimeter.

Hard
5. Ravi's field is 30 m long and 20 m wide. Fencing costs Rs 50 per metre. What is the total cost to fence it?

Answer key
1. 2 x (8 + 5) = 26 cm
2. 7 x 7 = 49 sq cm
3. Side = 36 / 4 = 9 cm. Area = 9 x 9 = 81 sq cm
4. Width = 72 / 12 = 6 cm. Perimeter = 2 x (12 + 6) = 36 cm
5. Perimeter = 2 x (30 + 20) = 100 m. Cost = 100 x 50 = Rs 5,000
