Write your WhatsApp catalogue

Lesson 1 of 55 min read1 task · 3 questions

Clear lines with price, size and delivery. Customers decide without asking.

The idea

Customers on WhatsApp ask the same questions again and again. How much? What size? Do you deliver? A good catalogue line answers all three before they ask.

Give the AI your rough list: product names, prices in ₹, sizes and your delivery rules. Ask for one short line per product, always in the same order: name, size, price and one plain benefit. Add the delivery note once, at the end.

Check every price and size before you post. The AI can change a number or add a claim you cannot keep, such as "best in town" or "100% organic". Delete anything that is not true.

Do not put your UPI ID or bank details in the prompt. Add them yourself when you send the catalogue.

Your task

Turn a rough product list into catalogue lines

This example is for a home bakery in Pune. Paste the prompt as it is. Later, replace the list with your own items.

Your slip: copy-paste prompt
Role: You write clear WhatsApp catalogue text for small Indian shops.
Task: Turn my rough list into catalogue lines.
Context: I run Meera's Home Bakery in Pune. My rough list:
- chocolate cake 500g 450, 1kg 850
- whole wheat banana bread 400g loaf 220
- nankhatai box of 12, 180
- eggless option on all cakes, 50 extra
Delivery: free within 3 km, Rs 40 beyond that, order one day before.
Format: One line per product: name, size, price in Rs, one short plain benefit. Then one delivery line. Then one line that asks customers to reply with their order. Simple English. No emojis. No claims like "best" or "healthiest". Under 100 words.

What you should get

A real example of a good result. Your wording will differ a little. The shape and the facts should match.
