Write a 30-second video script with a strong hook

Lesson 2 of 55 min read1 task · 3 questions

Put the useful part in the first 2 seconds. Then keep every line short.

The idea

Short videos win or lose in the first two seconds. Start with the result or the problem. Do not start with "Hi guys, welcome to my channel."

A 30-second script has about 70 to 80 spoken words. Break it into four beats: Hook (0 to 3 seconds), Step 1, 2, 3 (3 to 25 seconds) and Close (25 to 30 seconds).

Ask the AI to write what is spoken and what is on screen in two columns. This tells you what to record.

Your task

Script: 3 Google Sheets shortcuts in 30 seconds

Paste the prompt. You will get a script you can record on your phone.

Your slip: copy-paste prompt
Write a 30-second vertical video script for working people in India: "3 Google Sheets shortcuts that save time".

Rules:
- Total spoken words between 65 and 80.
- Beats with time ranges: Hook (0-5s), Tip 1, Tip 2, Tip 3, Close (26-30s).
- The hook must show the result, not greet the viewer. The Tips share the time from 5s to 26s.
- Three real shortcuts for Windows: Ctrl+Shift+V (paste values only), Ctrl+; (insert today's date), Ctrl+Space (select column).
- Table with columns: Time, Spoken line, On screen text.
- Plain Indian English. No hashtags. No emojis.

What you should get

A real example of a good result. Your wording will differ a little. The shape and the facts should match.
