Prepare a voiceover and captions
Write for the ear, not for the eye. Then cut the words into caption lines.
The idea
Spoken words are not the same as written words. Short sentences, simple words and a clear pause between ideas. Read your script out loud once. If you run out of breath, split the sentence.
You can record your own voice on your phone. That feels more real than a robot voice, and it is free. If you use a text-to-speech tool, check its terms and choose a natural voice.
Captions matter because many people watch with the sound off. Keep each caption line to 6 words or fewer, and break at natural pauses.
Your task
Clean a script and split it into caption lines
Use this rough script. Paste the prompt.
Here is my rough script: "So basically what I did was I put my weekly numbers into a chatbot and then it made the summary for me which saved me around thirty minutes every single week." Do two things: 1. Rewrite it as a clean voiceover: short sentences, simple words, natural pauses shown with "...". Keep my meaning and add nothing new. 2. Split the clean version into caption lines. Each line must have 6 words or fewer. Number the lines.
What you should get
A real example of a good result. Your wording will differ a little. The shape and the facts should match.
